I am Anoli Patel - journalist, filmmaker, producer, director, and mother of 3 boys. I’ve always had a passion for telling stories in unique and interesting ways. I feel blessed to be a part of some of the most amazing and touching stories ever created, thanks to my company... The Shaadi Story. Anoli Patel graduated from NYU in 1993 with a degree in Journalism and began her career working for the legendary Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. Under his wings, she started as a journalist, and quickly moved through the ranks as a writer, editor and then eventually as a news anchor. Next, Anoli entered the entertainment industry with Raju Sethi at The Asian Variety Show - an award-winning South Asian program known for bringing entertainment, news and music to the South Asian market in the U.S. It was here that Anoli began her career as a cinematographer. Her travels brought her to a chance meeting with well-known entrepreneur, Bipin Patel. After listening to her background and ideas, the two joined forces and founded Akshar Media. Together they produced the critically acclaimed feature film The Hangman, (http://www.thehangmanmovie.com) with Om Puri and Shreyas Talpade. Anoli’s latest venture combines her talents for cinematography and production. She is President of The Shaadi Story, a wedding video production company with a truly one-of-a kind concept, capturing love stories of brides and grooms. Her concept is so unique that Discovery Channel hired her to produce Buff Brides - a 10-episode Reality TV Series. Anoli continues to travel throughout the world filming lavish weddings for her high profile clientele. During her career, Anoli has worked with many superstars, among them: Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit.
